The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Opening Day for Ironton National Little League will be held on Saturday, April 11th. This date falls at the tail end of Spring Break, and while it may not be ideal, it is necessary to ensure we can properly fit in our six-week season while balancing the weather.
Opening Day will feature our traditional Player Parade, plus extra fun, music, and dancing to kick off the season with energy and excitement. All teams should plan to participate, and most teams will play on Opening Day, depending on scheduling.
We can’t wait to celebrate the start of another great year of baseball and softball with our community!

This special day marks the beginning of the athletic journey for our youngest players! Tee Ball Opening Day is all about fun, excitement, and creating unforgettable first memories on the field.
We’ll bring the same energy, celebration, and community spirit that we have on the league-wide Opening Day—just tailored for our newest athletes as they take their first swings.
We can’t wait to cheer on our Tee Ball players as they kick off their season!
About Our League
Ironton National Little League is proud to serve our small but passionate community. Our league is built on the dedication of incredible volunteers and the enthusiasm of young athletes who bring energy, talent, and heart to the field every season.
We believe that Little League fields are amazing places for kids to grow. While we work hard to develop strong fundamentals and a lifelong love for the game, our mission goes far beyond teaching how to hit, throw, or field. We want our children to learn confidence, resilience, teamwork, and respect through every practice and every inning.
Whether a player is picking up a glove for the first time or continuing their journey toward competitive play, Ironton National Little League is committed to providing a positive, safe, and uplifting environment for all families. Together, we build skills, character, and a stronger community—one season at a time.
